North Carolina High School Basketball - Crest fells Ashbrook

January 24, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28054

Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 50-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Crest upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Chargers host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Storm in a 3A Conference 50 bout on Friday, January 27. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Stuart W. Cramer won 42-40 in their recent league bout against South Point (Belmont, NC)

Next up, the Greenwave clash with the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Conference 50 bout, on Friday, January 27. Ashbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 74-42 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).
