Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), 61-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Summers County upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Nicholas County won 54-48 in their recent league bout against Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV)

Next up, the Beavers play the Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. Bluefield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
