The Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), 58-44 in Thursday's league test.
The Bobcats (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors go into the Coalfield AA test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Wyoming East notched a victory over Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 57-40, in a league outing.
The Beavers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Graham for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 27.
