Texas High School Basketball - Waxahachie overwhelmed by Cedar Hill

The Cedar Hill Longhorns basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Waxahachie Indians to 37 in the Longhorns league victory on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Duncanville for a 6A Region II District 11 contest on Friday, January 27. Cedar Hill will battle a Panthers and Pantherettes team coming off a 62-52 league win over Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Panthers and Pantherettes record now stands at 23-4.

The Indians (15-15) will now prepare for their contest against DeSoto (DeSoto, TX). The Eagles come into the 6A Region II District 11 contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, DeSoto triumphed over Skyline (Dallas, TX), 67-36, in a league contest.
