In Tuesday's league outing, the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), by a margin of 54-27.
The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Pickens smashed Gilmer (Ellijay, GA), 49-29, in a league outing.
The Bobcats now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Lumpkin County for a AAA Region 7 outing on Friday, January 27. Gilmer will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 71-11 league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Indians record now stands at 17-3.
