In Friday's league outing, the Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA) basketball squad beat the host Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), by a count of 49-29.
The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Dragons go into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Pickens defeated Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 57-44, in a non-league outing.
The Bobcats now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fannin County for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Gilmer will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 55-35 league win over Model (Rome, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.
