Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), 34-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eagle's Landing upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 2 bout on Saturday, January 28. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 9-11.

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 27. Jones County will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Demons come into the bout with a 17-3 record after their 45-35 league win over Dutchtown (Hampton, GA).
