The Eagle's Landing Eagles basketball team (McDonough, GA), was nudged 41-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA)

The Greyhounds now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ola for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, December 16. Jones County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 59-27 non-league win over Creekside Christian Academy (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.

The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats come into the AAAAA Region 2 battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Locust Grove was nudged by Union Grove (McDonough, GA), 59-31, in a league battle.
