North Carolina High School Basketball - Lejeune ripped by East Carteret

The East Carteret Mariners basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Lejeune Devil Pups to 28 in the Mariners league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mariners now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside - Pinetown for a 1A/2A Conference 3 contest on Friday, January 27.

The Devil Pups (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Trenton, NC). The Trojans enter the 1A/2A Conference 3 contest with a 1-10 record.
