Utah High School Basketball - Merit Preparatory Academy routs Freedom Prep Academy

In Tuesday's league outing, the Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Freedom Prep Academy Eagles (Provo, UT), by a margin of 69-29.
The Knights (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against American Heritage (American Fork, UT). The Patriots go into the 2A Region 18 outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, American Heritage smashed Maeser Prep Academy (Lindon, UT), 59-29, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rockwell for a 2A Region 18 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Freedom Prep Academy will clash with a Marshals squad coming off a 65-26 league win over Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams (Lehi, UT). The Marshals record now stands at 12-7.
