Georgia High School Basketball - Haralson County thwarts Gordon Central

The Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) basketball knocked off the host Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), 44-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rebels (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Region 7 test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Rockmart went down by Murray County (Chatsworth, GA), 61-41, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Fannin County for a AA Region 7 test on Friday, January 27. Gordon Central will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 59-43 league win over Model (Rome, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 15-6.
