In Friday's league outing, the Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), by a margin of 27-21.

The Rebels (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Rockmart was tipped by Murray County (Chatsworth, GA), 77-31, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Fannin County for a AA Region 7 outing on Saturday, December 17. Gordon Central will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 6-3.
