The Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) basketball nipped the host Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC), 51-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Falcons (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks go into the 4A Conference 55 test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Northern Guilford got by Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 73-11, in a league test.
The Whirlies now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a 4A Conference 55 test on Friday, January 27. Grimsley will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 51-49 league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 14-5.
