North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Guilford can't hold off Grimsley

The Grimsley Whirlies basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Southeast Guilford Falcons to 51 in the Whirlies league victory on Tuesday.

The Whirlies now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Guilford for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Grimsley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 53-22 league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-6.

The Falcons (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks come into the 4A Conference 55 contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Northern Guilford edged Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
