Alabama High School Basketball - Sipsey Valley overwhelmed by Hale County

The Sipsey Valley Bears basketball team (Buhl, AL), was routed 51-21 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Hale County Wildcats (Moundville, AL)

The Wildcats now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host American Christian Academy for a 4A Area 7 battle on Thursday, January 26. Hale County will battle a Patriots team coming off a 60-16 non-league loss to Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 3-11.

The Bears (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Demopolis (Demopolis, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 5-19 record. In their last battle, Demopolis was routed by Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL), 72-51, in a league battle.
