Texas High School Basketball - Sotomayor nipped by Holmes

The Holmes Huskies tipped the host Sotomayor WILDCATS basketball team by a final score of 48-44 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Huskies face the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, January 31. Holmes will attempt to move on its 15-17 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 10-19 record after their 66-59 league loss to Stevens (San Antonio, TX).

With the defeat, Sotomayor moves to 16-12 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Harlan (San Antonio, TX) to face the Hawks in a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 23-4.
