The Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) basketball crushed the host New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA), 60-38 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rams (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Smithfield (Smithfield, VA). The Packers go into the Bay Rivers test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Smithfield was trounced by York (Yorktown, VA), 32-30, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a Bay Rivers test on Thursday, January 26. New Kent will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 60-30 league win over Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 15-3.
