The New Kent Trojans basketball team (New Kent, VA), was overwhelmed 53-21 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA)
The Rams now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a Bay Rivers battle on Thursday, December 15. Lafayette will confront a Packers team coming off a 66-41 league loss to York (Yorktown, VA). The Packers record now stands at 1-4.
The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Clippers come into the Bay Rivers battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Grafton trounced Tabb (Yorktown, VA), 55-19, in a league battle.
