The Lake Worth Christian Defenders basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Lake Worth Trojans to 22 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Defenders now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morningside Academy for a 2A District 13 contest on Thursday, January 26. Lake Worth Christian will meet a Eagles team coming off a 32-19 non-league win over John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-6.
The Trojans (0-16) will now prepare for their contest against West Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL). The Bulls enter the non-league contest with a 9-14 record. In their last contest, West Boca Raton was outscored by Atlantic (Delray Beach, FL), 40-34, in a league contest.
