The Lake Worth Christian Defenders basketball team scored 31 points and held the host Lake Worth Trojans to 27 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Defenders now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glades Day for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6. Lake Worth Christian will meet a Gators team coming off a 45-41 non-league win over Jupiter Christian (Jupiter, FL). The Gators record now stands at 2-2.
The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Leonard (Greenacres, FL). The Lancers enter the 7A District 8 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Leonard was nudged by Dreyfoos School of the Arts (West Palm Beach, FL), 40-24, in a non-league contest.
