Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT), 68-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Monument Valley upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Cougars host Rock Point (Rock Point, AZ) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 16-2. Rock Point won 67-29 in their recent league bout against Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT) in a 1A Region 23 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Pinnacle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Buckaroo go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 78-33 non-league loss to Dove Creek (Dove Creek, CO).
