In Friday's league outing, the Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT), by a count of 69-28.
The Cougars (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Green River (Green River, UT). The Pirates go into the 1A Region 23 outing with a 5-14 record. In their last outing, Green River smashed Monticello (Monticello, UT), 74-45, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Whitehorse for a 1A Region 23 outing on Friday, February 10.
