In Tuesday's league outing, the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) basketball squad beat the host New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT), by a count of 42-29.

The Green Wave (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest - Colonial outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Masuk was topped by Newtown (Newtown, CT), 48-20, in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kolbe-Cathedral for a Southwest - Patriot outing on Friday, January 27. New Fairfield will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 62-47 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 8-6.
