New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), 35-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Fairfield upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to Newtown (Newtown, CT) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Newtown won 51-22 in their recent non-league bout against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)

Next up, the Green Wave play the Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. New Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Hatters go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 45-32 non-league loss to Immaculate (Danbury, CT).
