The Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) basketball nipped the host St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), 42-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rebels (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Regina Dominican got by Chicago University (Chicago, IL), 46-42, in a league test.
The Green Wave now own a 5-20 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a Metro Suburban test on Thursday, January 26. St. Edward will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 52-38 league loss to Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-13.
