In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) basketball squad edged the host Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), by a count of 49-43.
The Green Wave (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL). The Tigers go into the Metro Suburban outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Elmwood Park held off Westmont (Westmont, IL), 63-61, in a league outing.
The Rebels now hold a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Bremen for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 27. Ridgewood will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Braves record now stands at 4-9.
