In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Polk County Wolverines basketball team scored a good 46-36 triumph over the Hendersonville Bearcats.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 26. Polk County will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 2-15 record after their 39-32 non-league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
With the defeat, Hendersonville moves to 6-12 on the year. The Bearcats host Chase (Forest City, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Friday, January 27. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 7-7.
