The Hendersonville Bearcats (Hendersonville, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 52-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Chase went down by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 58-32, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Polk County will encounter a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 46-28 non-league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-8.
