North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown knocked off by West Rowan

January 24, 2024: Kannapolis, NC 28083

The West Rowan Falcons basketball team scored 60 points and held the host A.L. Brown Wonders to 48 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rowan for a 3A South Piedmont contest on Friday, January 26. West Rowan will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 88-53 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-15.

The Wonders (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls enter the 4A Greater Metro contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Hickory Ridge was outscored by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 77-58, in a league contest.
