The Freedom Patriots topped the host Ashe County Huskies basketball team by a final score of 62-50 in Wednesday's league game.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) in a 3A/4A Northwestern game, on Friday, January 26. Freedom will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 65-42 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
