The Princess Anne Cavaliers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Tallwood Lions to 40 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kempsville for a Beach contest on Friday, January 26. Princess Anne will meet a Chiefs team coming off a 67-40 league win over Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 12-3.
The Lions (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils enter the Beach contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Salem was outscored by Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA), 49-20, in a league contest.
