The Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) basketball crushed the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), 56-34 in Wednesday's league test.
The Hawks (12-5) will now prepare for their test against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls go into the 3A/4A All-American test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, E.E. Smith walloped Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), 68-40, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-16 record. They play next when they host Harnett Central for a 3A/4A All-American test on Friday, January 26. Western Harnett will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 58-36 league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.
