In Tuesday's league outing, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), by a margin of 56-43.
The Hawks (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans go into the 3A/4A All-American outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Pine Forest defeated E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 56-52, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 0-20 record. They play next when they host Chatham Central for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 8. Western Harnett will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 71-58 league win over Cummings (Burlington, NC). The Bears record now stands at 19-2.
