Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) and the host Warren Bears (Downey, CA), saw Paramount's basketball squad wallop Warren by a count of 62-26.

With the victory, Paramount upgrades its record to 20-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Lynwood (Lynwood, CA) to play the Knights in a Gateway challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 15-11. Lynwood won 59-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA)

Next up, the Bears play the Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA) in a Gateway challenge, on Friday, January 26. Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 45-29 league loss to Lynwood (Lynwood, CA).
