California High School Basketball - Stevenson knocked off by Seaside

The Seaside Spartans basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Stevenson Pirates to 28 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Soledad for a PCAL - Mission contest on Friday, January 26. Seaside will meet a Aztecs team coming off a 49-38 league win over Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 12-5.
The Pirates (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs enter the PCAL - Mission contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Monte Vista Christian ran past Carmel (Carmel, CA), 38-37, in a league contest.
