The Patriots (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars go into the outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Alexander Central held off Watauga (Boone, NC), 49-47, in a non-league outing.

The Huskies now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a non-league outing on Friday, January 26. Ashe County will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 11-1.
