In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Westview Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the Del Norte Nighthawks.
The Wolverines (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). The Grizzlies go into the Palomar bout with a 12-0 record. In their last bout, Mission Hills tipped Poway (Poway, CA), 1-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Nighthawks battle the Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) in a Palomar bout, on Friday, January 26. Del Norte will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Broncos enter the bout with a 2-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA).
