Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Westview will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA).

The Nighthawks now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Dieguito Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 20.
