Texas High School Basketball - Aledo sneaks past Fossil Ridge

The Aledo Bearcats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Fossil Ridge Panthers to 47 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now possess a 24-4 record. They play next when they travel to Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, January 28. Aledo will play a Rough Riders team coming off a 48-41 league loss to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 9-19.

With the loss, Fossil Ridge falls to 12-16 on the campaign. The Panthers host Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Rangers in a 5A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 17-8. Chisholm Trail lost 47-33 in their recent league game against Aledo (Aledo, TX)
