Texas High School Basketball - Aledo knocks off Fossil Ridge

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) and the host Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), observed Aledo's basketball team overcome Fossil Ridge by a margin of 63-44.

The Bearcats (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders come into the 5A Region I District 5 challenge with a 6-15 record. In their last challenge, Saginaw dropped by Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 69-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Fossil Ridge will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Martin (Arlington, TX).
