The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bartlett Panthers (Bartlett, TN) and the visiting Southwind Jaguars (Memphis, TN), observed Bartlett's basketball team overwhelm Southwind by a score of 62-36.

The Panthers (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Starkville (Starkville, MS). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league challenge with a 18-6 record. In their last challenge, Starkville was routed by Germantown (Madison, MS), 50-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Germantown Red Devils (Germantown, TN) in a 4A District 15 challenge, on Monday, January 27. Southwind will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 52-44 non-league loss to Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN).
