In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos basketball team scored a good 66-56 triumph over the Blue Ridge Knights.
The Broncos (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Villa Grove was topped by Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL), 79-64, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Knights confront the Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Blue Ridge will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Timberwolves go into the contest with a 12-9 record after their 46-43 league loss to Cumberland (Toledo, IL).
