In Friday's league test, the Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL) basketball squad got by the host Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), by a score of 53-48.

Next, the Hornets encounter the New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL) in a 4A Area 4 test, on Saturday, January 25. Bullock County will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Gamecocks come into the test with a 9-11 record after their 47-31 league loss to Pike County (Brundidge, AL).
