Alabama High School Basketball - Bullock County triumphant over Pike County

January 3, 2025: Union Springs, AL 36089

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL) and the visiting Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), observed Bullock County's basketball team overwhelm Pike County by a score of 66-41.

The Hornets (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Straughn (Andalusia, AL). The Tigers come into the 4A Area 4 challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Straughn trounced Highland Home (Highland Home, AL), 56-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL) in a 4A Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Gamecocks come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 64-38 non-league loss to Selma (Selma, AL).
