In Friday's league contest, the host North Laurel Jaguars basketball team scored a good 78-63 win over the Clay County Tigers.
The Jaguars (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Boyle County defeated Lincoln County (Stanford, KY), 50-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Clay County will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Rockets come into the contest with a 4-10 record after their 59-31 league win over Casey County (Liberty, KY).
