The Clay County Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting North Laurel Jaguars to 63 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Oneida Baptist Institute for a District 49 game on Tuesday, January 14.

With the loss, North Laurel falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Corbin (Corbin, KY) to confront the Redhounds in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Redhounds go into the game with a record of 7-5. Corbin lost 87-72 in their recent non-league game against Blazer (Ashland, KY)
