Next, the Wildcats clash with the Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Gregory-Portland will attempt to upgrade on its 27-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 11-19 record after their 50-37 league loss to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX).

The Texans (20-10) will now prepare for their test against King (Corpus Christi, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region IV District 29 test with a 13-17 record. In their last test, King overcame Miller (Corpus Christi, TX), 46-41, in a league test.
