In Friday's league test, the Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX) basketball squad defeated the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a final score of 69-57.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 18-8 season record. The Mavericks come into the test with a 15-9 record after their 77-44 league win over Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX).
The Knights (14-14) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks enter the 5A Region II District 11 match with a 18-10 record. In their last match, Liberty was dropped by Heritage (Frisco, TX), 48-38, in a league match.
