With the victory, Magee advances its record to 16-2 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS) to meet the Indians in a 3A Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 9-12.

The Jaguars now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long Beach for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25.
