Next, the Trojans encounter the Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS) in a 3A Region 6 test, on Thursday, January 9. Magee will attempt to improve on its 11-1 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 8-10 record after their 49-40 league win over Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS).

The Jaguars (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Seminary (Seminary, MS). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 6 test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Seminary was knocked off by Magee (Magee, MS), 61-31, in a league test.
